Getting to grips with Go Ape at Aberfoyle

Aerial Assault Courses in Scotland

There are several aerial assault courses available in Scotland. In Aberfoyle, in The Trossachs, you can try an award winning aerial assault course rising up 40 feet in the trees that includes rope bridges, tarzan swings, two of the longest zip slides in the UK and various other challenging obstacles. This 'Go Ape' high wire forest adventure challenges a wide range of ages, all you need is to show your 'adventurous side' and you'll soon be swinging from tree to tree!

Alternatively spend some time at the biggest indoor climbing centre in the world - the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA) where you can try their Aerial Assault Course. Suspended 100 feet above the arena, this is a test of balance, nerve and your head for heights.

Where to go:

Visit the longest zip wire in the UK at Go Ape in Aberfoyle, near Stirling. It's an amazing experience and at 426 metres long, gives you plenty of time to look around and enjoy the ride. Alternatively challenge your limits at the EICA Aerial Assault Course near Edinburgh.
