Kart Racing

Kart Racing in Scotland
Competitive kart racing is the fastest growing form of motorsports in the
world and has already established itself as the first step on the ladder to
motor racing success, and besides that it is a boat-load of fun! It's much
more flexible than most other motor sports while still combining all the
elements of professional racing. Kart racing is the most popular four wheel
participant sport in the world.
Sixty thousand license holders (men and women as well as boys and girls) in
60 countries compete in the most cost-effective form of motorsport.
Where to go:
There are Karting tracks throughout Scotland, with many close to the major cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Indoor tracks, which are usually located in city areas can be raced all year round, however weather restrictions will apply at outdoor centres.Want to get started ?
A choice of venues and packages are available, and although you can just turn up and race with a pal at most of the tracks in Scotland, the most entertaining and inexpensive way is to plan ahead and get as large a group as possible.Everything you require for your session is supplied. This should include the minimum of a helmet with visor, overalls, and usually gloves. You'll also obviously be provided with a Racing Kart!
