Get active in Scotland by choosing from our exhilarating range of activities; white water rafting, canoeing, canyoning, duckying, gorge scrambling, rock climbing, abseiling and mountain biking as well as skiing and snowboarding during the winter. Active offer activity days, holidays and training courses. Activities are available to suit individuals, families and groups of all ages and abilities.

Activity holidays and training courses are based at Craigower Lodge Outdoor Centre in Newtonmore. We run weekend and week-long courses to suit novices through to training and assessment courses for instructors. A great outdoor experience awaits you set within the magnificent Cairngorms National Park.

What we do best:

Learn the skills of sea kayaking and experience being able to take control of your boat on a short journey or play on some easy moving water. Come and experience some of Scotland's stunning and beautiful locations only accessible by sea. The trips are conducted by fully trained instructors taking you inlets in Scotland which may have dolphins, passing whales and puffins to guide you on your way.

The courses are designed to teach you basic paddling skills quickly. Courses are available for beginner and intermediate paddlers.

The days are suited to complete beginners or those with a little experience. Active provide taster day's throughout Scotland using lochs and rivers within easy driving distance of your group base.
