Beyond Adventure is a specialist outdoor company, based in Aberfeldy, providing tailor-made experiences of the wilderness environment. Our particular specialities are open canoeing and tailor-made activity residentials for groups in Scotland.

The name Beyond Adventure illustrates our ethos - that there is more to outdoor acitivities than simply thrills and spills. 'Beyond' can refer to whatever you choose: extending your skills through professional coaching, a deeper appreciation of the natural environment, taking time to enjoy more fully the outdoor adventure experience.

Beyond Adventure happily take bookings from small or large family groups and will tailor our activities to suit the ages of the children and adults within your group. Canoeing, rock climbing, gorge walking and biking are all activities which children enjoy and can participate fully in. Please contact us to discuss a tailor made program for your family group whether its for 1?or several?days of activities.

What we do best:

Open Canoeing (Canadian Canoeing)

Come canoeing with one of Scotland's best open canoeing instructors.

Open canoeing originated in North America where canoes were used as transport across vast networks of rivers and lakes. Today the canoe retains the original design features but manufactured using modern processes. This means that the canoe is as suited to travelling through the wilderness today as it was in history.

Half and full day loch sessions to introduce you to open canoeing or to develop your skills.
Day trips on rivers including gentle flows suitable for beginners or white water for those who want the added adrenaline or challenge.
Two day expeditions on the River Tay, to sample the delights of the canoe journey.
Evening river trips on the River Tay.

In addition we offer a full programme of canoe skills and British Canoe Union instructional courses. If required Beyond Adventure can arrange accommodation.
