Caledonian Activity Breaks offers hire of equipment with no tuition.

What we do best:

Hire of Coleman 17 Canadian Canoes, based beside the Caledonian Canal at Neptune's Staircase, Banavie near Fort William. Possible trips include Fort William - Inverness on the Caledonian Canal or the chance to explore Scotland's dramatic west coast lochs for the more adventurous. All trips are self-led. Canadian Canoes can be paddled by 1-3 persons. Suitable for anyone from families going for a short paddle to experienced paddlers doing multi-day expeditions.

Available packages

Hire of Canadian Canoes at the following rates:

2 hours: £12 (minimum)

3 hours: £15

4 hours: £18

Evening (from 6pm `till dark): £12

Day: £25

Rates include the use of buoyancy aids and paddles.

We can pick up and deliver within a reasonable distance at the rate of 60p per vehicle mile. For example to collect canoes from Inverness is £70
