Situated on the shores of a sheltered sea loch, we offer a variety of adventurous outdoor activity holidays for beginners to advanced level.

Sea kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling, walking, land yachting, surfing, sea level traverse, wild camping, overnight survival on an island (for younger members!). Enjoy the beauty of the unspoilt north-west coast - empty mountains, deserted golden sand beaches and clear seas with plentiful wildlife. Seals, otters, red throated divers, red deer.

We provide comfortable accommodation in single, twin, double or bunk rooms and delicious home cooked food. Our dining room has a comfortable sitting area with wood burning stove and stunning views across the sea loch of birdlife and mountains beyond - mobile phones don't work in our accomodation!

Come for one day, a weekend or a week. Adults, families, unaccompanied young people and groups.

What we do best:

Truly one of the best places in the world to sample sea kayaking for the first time or develop skills for the more experienced. Situated on the shores of sheltered Loch A'Chad-Fi, on the northwest Highland coast, a one hour drive north of Ullapool. Clear seas, hidden beaches and rugged islands the home to seals, otters, divers, gulls and greylag geese.

We offer specialist Sea kayaking holidays, as well as, rock climbing and abseiling, walking, land yachting, short board surfing, wild camping, overnight survival on an island…(for 12-17 year olds).

Our comfortable accommodation is on the shores of the sea loch in single, twin or double rooms. We serve delicious home cooked food. Our dining room has a comfortable sitting area with wood burning stove and stunning views across the loch of the birdlife and to the mountains beyond.

"The day stands out head and shoulders above anything that we've done elsewhere…thank you for paying so much attention and taking the trouble to show us things that we otherwise wouldn't have noticed".

Come for one day, a weekend or a week. Adults, families, unaccompanied young people and groups. There has been an adventure school here for over 40 years. We live here all the year round.

Day Sea Kayaking - Learn the basic skills to paddle your own kayak around the sheltered sea loch, with its islands, birdlife and seals. If you wish, it is possible to view John Ridgway's Atlantic Rowing boat that he rowed across the north Atlantic with Chay Blyth in 1966 and Rebecca Ridgway's kayak that she paddled becoming the first woman to kayak round Cape Horn in 1992.  Return to the adventure school for hot showers, tea and home baking.

Sea Kayaking Weekends and Weeks for beginners, intermediate and the more advanced based at our accommodation on the shores of the sea loch with a night spent wild camping.

Staff - Our instructors are friendly, trained and qualified.  We are AALA licensed for Climbing, Trekking and Water sports
