Clan Surf offers surf lessons in Scotland for beginners and intermediates alike. Whether you are a complete novice or an intermediate surfer wanting to hone your skills, Jamie's intimate knowledge of surfing and professional approach is guaranteed to help you progress in a safe and exhilarating manner.

Conducted at some of the beautiful surf spots in Scotland, East or West coast dependent on conditions.

Equipment Hire - Provided within lessons but also available to those just wishing to surf.

Available packages


Surf lesson ½ hour coaching and 2 hours in the water covering water safety and surf dynamics. £35 per adult and £25 for under 16s including equipment hire.

Transport can also be provided at a cost of £20

Group lessons available, up to 5 in the water at any one time, call for prices.

Useful info


Equipment provided?

5mm full winter wetsuit, gloves boots, and hood (as required) as well as BSA approved Swell surfboards and bare minimals as required.

What do I need to wear?

Comfortable, warm clothing and footwear. dependent on weather.

What do I need to bring?

Towel and refreshments.

When can I do it?

Generally April to November, although winter lessons can be arranged.

Is there a pub nearby?

Beer and surfing don't generally mix. But yes for after!
