Deep Sea World is Scotland's National Aquarium. Situated in Fife, just under the magnificent Forth Road and Rail Bridge, our giant 4.5 million litre tank is home to one of Europe's largest collection of sand tiger sharks. Get face to face with our sharks from one of the world's longest underwater viewing tunnels. We are also home to the world's most dangerous fish and frog as well as a superb range of other species from all over the world from the Amazon, Lake Malawi, Krakatoa and the Coral Reef.
What we do best:
Everyday tank talks and presentations are given as well as rock pool sessions providing "hands-on" experiences. Throughout the year events take place, which are advertised on our website and during the summer we have a special outdoor exhibition ie Guided Sea Kayaking. Trips can be from one day to five, we adapt our journeys to suit your availability, budget and requirements.
Or perhaps take a Shark Dive at Deep Sea World, North Queensferry, and you?ll be swimming with one of nature?s most amazing predators. Deep Sea World is the only aquarium in Scotland to offer you this incredible experience. So, if diving in shark-infested waters is your idea of fun, now?s your chance to do it.
No qualifications or experience are required to enjoy the adrenaline rush of shark diving. Full training is given on the day and all necessary equipment is provided. All we ask is that you meet the basic medical requirements and are over 16 years of age. Terms and conditions apply
