At East of Scotland Microlight we run a full-time microlight flying school (flexwing microlights only), offering training to obtain pilot's licence, air experience flights and gift vouchers. We have two instructors who, between them, cover every day of the week, every week of the year. Yes, it is still fun to fly in the winter! The Chief Flying Instructor, Gordon Douglas, has been flying since 1980 and has had the school at East Fortune since 1989. We also have a club with 100 members, so it's a very active, fun place to come and fly over beautiful East Lothian - fabulous beaches, big views and of course the Bass Rock!

What we do best:

Flying Training - from complete beginner to full microlight pilot's licence.

Air Experience Flights - We offer a range of lengths and typles of flight, from the popular 30 minute 'taster' flight, to longer touring flights and also flights where you swap seats with instructor (landing first of course!) so you can have a go at piloting the aircraft yourself. Whichever option you choose, you will be offered a hands-on shot at the controls.

Gift Vouchers - If you'd like one, just give us a call or visit our website for more details.
