Forestry Commission Scotland serves as the Scottish Government's forestry department and with its forest management agency, Forest Enterprise Scotland, looks after some 667,000 hectares of the nation's forest estate. This makes the Commission Scotland's largest land manager and biggest provider of outdoor recreation.

What we do best:

we also host many husky races and training grounds in our forests. One of the main events is in Glenmore where hundreds of mushers compete against each other.
