Learn to fly on the beautiful Isle of Arran 'Scotland in miniature'. There are 30 + flying sites taking all wind directions, which are suitable for beginners and experts alike.

Paragliding is the simplest form of aviation known to man. The paragliding 'wing' is easily carried in a rucksack. You launch on a gentle slope facing into the wind. As the paraglider comes above you, it starts lifting: a few steps and you're airborne.

We are a member of the BHPA (British Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association) and are supported by the Scottish Federation of paragliding clubs: www.shpf.co.uk.

Action holidays - whatever the weather we will have fun. Alternative activities available for non flyable days. On-line equipment store.

What we do best:

Flying Fever is a British Hang gliding and Paragliding registered school. Zabdi Keen the chief instructor established flying fever on the Isle of Arran over 15 years ago - She competes in international competitions and was the leading British woman in the pre-world cup in Brazil this Spring. Our instructors are also qualified mountain guides.

We offer a value for money voucher system that allows you to exchange paragliding tuition fees for other activities, equipment or holidays abroad in the event of unflyable weather during your course. Vouchers are valid for 1 year and can be passed onto a friend.

Funday Your first steps in the air! Exhilarating! A great fun day out with friends. You will quickly progress up the hill flying higher and higher. If like many you catch the Flying Fever bug, you can count this days training towards your elementary pilot if you book within a month - £95.

Tandem Flight You fly with an instructor on a tandem paraglider. An excellent way to get a taste of flight. Ideal for the more nervous as you are totally in the hands of the instructor. Depending on the weather conditions the flight will either be a long glide down from a high hill or a soaring flight. Gift vouchers available - £95
