Offering trial gliding lessons over the breathtaking scenery of the Grampian Mountains and the Cairngorm National Park. We provide instruction for all abilities from complete novice to cross country pilot, offering courses led by instructors qualified to the highest levels. The terrain that we overfly is truly some of the most beautiful in the world and with the likelihood of sharing a thermal with Buzzards, Golden Eagles or Osprey, what better way to experience them than in their own environment.
What we do best:
Trial Lessons - Lessons are of approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the weather conditions of the day, and vouchers can be can be purchased from the club. Vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issue to allow flexibility to suit your availability and requirements.Pilot Training - Train for the thrill and satisfaction of piloting a glider, learning the skills of soaring and cross-country flying, and the award of the UK Glider Pilot Licence. Club Atmosphere - Open for flying 7 days a week, 365 days a year, come and relax in a friendly club environment with flying training and technical briefings to suit all levels. We also have a cosy clubhouse for après flying, and bad weather days.
