Go Ape is an award-winning high-wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides up to 40 feet up in the trees. Our course at Aberfoyle also boasts the longest  zip wires in Great Britain, measuring 426 metres! Feel the adrenaline as you soar through the forest, way above the trees!

Enjoy approximately three memorable hours of adventure sharing a unique, fun and exhilarating experience trekking from tree to tree, with friends, family or work colleagues.

What we do best:

High Wire Forest Adventures that you?ll be talking about for days!
There are some participant restrictions to bear in mind:

Minimum age - 10yrs

Minimum height - 1.4m (4ft 7")

Maximum weight - 20.5 stones (130kg)

Under 18yr olds must be accompanied by a participating adult

Other participating adult supervisory options:

One adult COULD supervise (for example) - 
a 12 year old and a 17 year old
a 10 year old and a 12 year old
four 16 year olds

One adult COULD NOT supervise -
Two 13 year olds and a 16 year old
a 14 year old and four 17 year olds
three 10 year olds

Go Ape is located at the David Marshall Lodge Visitor Centre, a mile north of Aberfoyle on the A821 (Dukes Pass) in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

From Glasgow follow the A81 north to Aberfoyle. Look out for signs for the 'David Marshall Lodge'. From Stirling follow the A84(T), A873 then A81 west to Aberfoyle. Look out for signs for the 'David Marshall Lodge'.

Equipment provided?

Each participant it fitted with a safety harness and receives comprehensive safety instructions from trained instructors.

What do I need to wear?

Some clothes you don?t mind getting soiled or even damaged. Dress for the weather. No open-toed sandals or slip-off shoes permitted.

What do I need to bring?

A sense of adventure and your camera!
