Highland Activities are a modern outdoor adventure centre offering quality outdoor activities including quad biking, white water rafting, canyoning & gorge walking, clay pigeon shooting, off road driving, paintballing, archery and mountain biking.
We are based on Ardverikie Estate or Glenbogle as it is known to many as the setting for the BBC's Monarch of the Glen series. We are based in between Aviemore in The Cairngorms National Park and Fort William 'Outdoor Capital of the UK' in the stunning surroundings of the Highlands of Scotland. Highland Activities will guarantee you a fun, safe and memorable outdoor experience.
What we do best:
Learn to paddle our 2 man inflatable canoes with an introductory or fun session on the loch. your instructors will teach you how to turn your boat and control it in a straight line. Our inflatable boats are extremely stable and designed to help you learn.Once you have mastered the flat water you may wish to join us on us on one of our river trips which are fantastic for first timers looking for a river adventure. Tackling rapids of up to grade 2 and 3 on the international system of 1 to 6 you will be safely led by your instructor down the river, enjoying the scenery along the flatter bits and maybe playing some games to keep you entertained.
