The Cairngorms newest outdoor recreational facility in the national forests! 17.6km of purpose-built, all-weather challenging singletrack mountainbike routes graded red and black, including a blue-graded Fun Park with big berms, table tops and gap jumps! Laze ¿ or tend your graze ¿ at BaseCamp MTB over a coffee and cake, or after a nice warm shower! Mountain bikes are for hire on site ¿ we¿ll even shuttle you to the start to save the climb - but if you¿d rather take a pony trek or a quiet walk, you can set off on either from the same place!

What we do best:

Fun Park (moderate) - Graded at `blue' because novices can trundle or free wheel pretty much from top to bottom, but skilled riders will rip up this route and find `big air' opportunities all the way down! A wide sealed surface singletrack but with big berms, tabletops and gap jumps - not recommended for very young children.

Red Route (difficult) - Designed to be fast and flowing, this trail is narrower than the Fun Park and with many features to test the intermediate mountainbiker's skills! Also look out for 'Air's Rock' - a Black feature which you can bypass if you want! Built rock causeways, as well as plenty of natural rock features should keep you amused!

Black route (severe) - A tight trail, one way and no `chicken runs'! For the expert probably using a big hit rig with full suspension, the Black route has some serious drop offs, stone staircases, boulder fields and rock slabs - not for the faint hearted!
