Loch Katrine Powerboat Training is based at Trossachs Pier, Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Loch Katrine is home to the Steamship Sir Walter Scott. Loch Katrine Powerboat Training is a Royal Yachting Association recognised training centre offering powerboat level one and two training. We also offer First Aid instruction.

What we do best:

Using our Rigid Inflatable Boat we offer one or two day small boat handling course. Courses take place over two days. By taking your course at an Loch Katrine Powerboat Training Centre you will be taught by an experienced, qualified instructor on our own RIB. The Level One Course covers basic boat handling, safety and theory. The level two course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat. It includes Close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision regulations.
