The National Kayak School is run by Director Stuart Wagstaff - a Level 5 Kayak coach and offers innovative introductory kayak courses throughout Scotland and beyond using the kayak to suit you.

Touring kayaks for mellow travel down rivers on lochs and the sea. Inflatable kayaks to enable you to quickly experience white water without the worry of being stuck inside. White water playboats to enable you to develop skills to play on white water and in the surf.

National Kayak School also offers sea kayaking courses from its base in Oban, giving a fantastic insight into Scotland's rugged coastline. Explore beautiful islands, towering cliffs and remote beaches - places otherwise often difficult to access.

Great days out on uncrowded rivers and fascinating coastline all year round - and only one and a half hours drive from Edinburgh.

What we do best:

Introductory Kayaking for individuals, families and groups on lochs and rivers, courses and holidays. White Water Kayaking introduction, intermediate & advanced courses and coaching on rivers, all over Scotland, including creek boating and waterfall kayaking. Based in Sunny Weem, near Aberfeldy in the Heart Of Scotland on rivers Tay, Tummel, Lyon & Awe.
