The venue for the World Cup Mountain Bike Championships no less! Take the gondola to the top of the mountain and scream down a course which will have your eyes on stalks. If this seems a bit daring then the Witch¿s Trail offers technical cross-country riding of a lung busting nature. Leanachan also boasts family trails for those who want to enjoy the scenery at slower speeds. Bike hire is available from Nevis Range during the summer months and year round in Fort William. Make sure you experience the World Cup action. In 2002, 2003 and 2004 Fort William successfully hosted the opening events in the UCI mountain bike calendar.
What we do best:
The UK's only World Cup Downhill Mountain Bike Track with gondola access! Take the easy way up to the start at 625m, then it¿s the ultimate test of your downhill skills and equipment for the 525m descent over 2.8km."The course is one of the roughest and fastest on the Downhill World cup circuit. It is the most physically demanding track in the world and is also a huge test for the equipment." Stu Thompson, Giant UK.
