Rothiemurchus is a special place at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, near Aviemore, in the Scottish Highlands. It offers a warm welcome, stunning scenery and outdoor activities for individuals, families, groups and corporate parties to enjoy.

What we do best:

Set in absolutely breathtaking scenery and established for over 20 years, Rothiemurchus is one of the best clay shooting facilities in the UK. Our exceptional facilities and top class tuition ensure that whether you are a complete beginner (12 years+) or a crack shot you'll have a sensational time.

We offer a wide range of sporting targets in natural surroundings with 26 automatic traps, each with multiple shooting positions, including high pheasant tower, bolting rabbit, driven grouse, springing teal.

We have 2 full-time and 5 part-time experienced instructors who provide expert one-to-one tuition giving you the confidence to really enjoy this exciting sport. Lighter weight guns and low recoil cartridges are available for ladies and children so that everyone can have a great time, and before you know it you'll be hitting more clays than you thought possible!

Please choose your session, Silver or Gold Shooting Experience. These experiences can be structured for complete beginner and novice requirements or tailored to the more experienced shot. We would advise that the Silver Experience is more suitable for beginners, ladies and children. If you would like to join the gun club or arrange a private lesson please contact us.
